1) A fixed stock trunnion was removed from a real mild steel AK stamped receiver (not temperature treated) and folding stock hinge was fitted in the back of the receiver, followed by installation of a butt stock retaining mechanism |

2) Solid steel parts were fitted onto the barrel including front sight block, gas block and rear sight base after the barrel diametre was reduced in 3 places to allow easier fitting

3) Other parts are lined up and ready for installation. Optional AK replica gas piston was also fitted into a factory modified bolt carrier. Zastava AK47 polymer magazine fits pefectly and it can also be converted into Co2 magazine |

4) The AK-103 is now assembled as a Co2 air rifle and also available on order as INERT replica rifle with solid steel bar for a barrel, deactivated bolt and bolt carrier and simplified trigger group which allows cocking and dry-firing. Defined as RIF |
